Valid passport — original, undamaged, signed, at least 1 blank page, valid 6 months past departure.

Traveling with a minor under 18?
Bring the child's birth certificate, copies of both parents' passports or driver's licenses, and a notarized parental consent letter if one parent is not traveling.

Business letter from your company
On company letterhead with an original signature or company stamp. Must name a reference firm in Rwanda, explain the nature of business and length of stay, include a financial guarantee, and state the requested visa validity and entries.

What is the difference between 15-day and 8 to 10-day Rwanda visa processing?
Both options produce the same multiple-entry visa valid for 3 months. The difference is only the consulate turnaround: standard processing takes 15 days and costs $60, while rush processing takes 8 to 10 days and costs $90. Our service fee is separate — $199 for rush, $99 for express, or $69 for regular. Call us at (310) 402-1619 with your travel date and we will confirm which combination is right for your timeline.
What must the business letter include for a Rwanda business visa?
The business letter must be on company letterhead with an original signature or company stamp. It must name a reference firm in Rwanda, explain the nature of the business and the expected length of stay, include a financial guarantee from your company confirming all costs are covered, and state the requested visa validity and number of entries. We review your business letter at our counter before submission to confirm all required elements are present.
Do I need a flight itinerary to apply for a Rwanda visa?
No. A confirmed flight itinerary is helpful but not required for either the tourist or business Rwanda visa. If you have a booking, include a copy. If your travel dates are not yet finalized, you can still proceed. We review your full package at our counter before anything is submitted.
Can I use a Rwanda visa to visit Uganda and Tanzania in the same trip?
The Rwanda visa alone covers entry into Rwanda only. However, if your trip includes Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda, the East Africa Tourist Visa is a $100 alternative that covers all three countries in one visa. Call us at (310) 402-1619 before applying and we will confirm whether the Rwanda-only visa or the East Africa Tourist Visa is the better fit for your itinerary.
Can I apply for a Rwanda visa by mail from outside Los Angeles?
Yes. Mail us your passport, completed and signed Rwanda visa application, a 2x2 visa photo, and a completed Service Order Form. For the business visa, also include your business letter.
