Common questions about Nepal visa applications
What Nepal visa validity should I choose — 15, 30, or 90 days? +
All three options are multiple-entry visas. The 15-day visa costs $25, the 30-day costs $40, and the 90-day costs $100 in consulate fees. If you are hiking to Everest Base Camp or doing an extended trek, the 90-day visa gives you the most flexibility. For a shorter leisure trip, the 15 or 30-day option is sufficient. Call us at (310) 402-1619 and we will confirm which validity fits your itinerary.
What must the business letter include for a Nepal business visa? +
The business letter must be on company letterhead and include the name of a reference firm in Nepal, an explanation of the nature of your business and the expected length of stay, a financial guarantee from your company confirming all costs are covered, and the requested visa validity and number of entries. We review your business letter at our counter before submission to confirm it meets all of these requirements.
Do I need a flight itinerary to apply for a Nepal visa? +
No. A confirmed flight itinerary is helpful but not required for either the tourist or business Nepal visa. If you have a booking, include a copy — it can support your application. If your travel dates are not yet finalized, you can still proceed. We review your full package at our counter before anything is submitted.
How long does a Nepal visa take to process from Los Angeles? +
Processing time varies by service tier. Our rush service is $199, express is $99, and regular is $69 in service fees, plus the consulate fee for your chosen validity — $25 for 15 days, $40 for 30 days, or $100 for 90 days. Call us at (310) 402-1619 with your travel date and we will confirm the current turnaround before you commit to any bookings.
Can I apply for a Nepal visa by mail from outside Los Angeles? +
Yes. Mail us your passport, completed and signed Nepal visa application, a 2x2 visa photo, and a completed Service Order Form. For the business visa, also include your business letter. We verify everything, handle the consulate submission, and return your passport via FedEx. Call us at (310) 402-1619 before mailing to confirm the current turnaround and exact package required.
