Bring the child's birth certificate, copies of both parents' passports or driver's licenses, and a notarized parental consent letter if one parent is not traveling.

Common questions about Ghana visa applications
Is a yellow fever vaccination certificate required for a Ghana visa?
Yes. An International Certificate of Vaccination (yellow card) proving yellow fever vaccination is required for all Ghana visa applicants. Ghana will not issue a visa and may refuse entry without it. If you do not have one, get vaccinated at a certified travel clinic before applying. We check your certificate at our counter before your application is submitted.
Does the Ghana business visa require different documents than the tourist visa?
No. Ghana does not require a separate business letter or invitation letter for the business visa. Both tourist and business visas use the same document set: valid passport, two signed copies of the application in capital letters, a yellow fever certificate, two visa photos, and a copy of your photo ID. We verify the complete package at our counter before submission.
What is the difference between the Ghana consulate visa and the Ghana eVisa?
The consulate visa is a physical stamp placed in your passport by the Ghanaian consulate in Los Angeles. Processing takes 5 to 7 days at $260 or 2 to 3 weeks at $200 in consulate fees. Why does the Ghana visa application need to be filled out in capital letters?
The Ghanaian consulate requires both copies of the application to be completed in capital letters only. Lowercase entries are a common reason for delay or rejection. Two signed copies must be submitted, not just one. We review both copies at our counter before submission to confirm they are correctly completed and signed.
Can I apply for a Ghana visa by mail from outside Los Angeles?
Yes. Mail us your passport, two signed copies of the Ghana application in capital letters, your yellow fever certificate, two visa photos, a copy of your photo ID, and a completed Service Order Form.
